Seek a robot approaching human motor function
Human motor function and human control strategy are still mysterious
even in this modern era. There is no robot that can simulate human's perfectly.
Our aim is to bring the human model into the real world, that is to
create humanoid robots which can move like human, recognize different
circumstances, interact with human; and use them to support human in
therapy , or employ them in medical training, or in researches such as human-functional analysis, and so on.
In our study, we seek to understand human motor function by development
a human-like musculskeletal robot driven by human-like control strategy.
